21st Century Communication prepares students to be productive members of their community, their nation, and their world by enhancing their personal and professional knowledge of mass and social media. Students will be expected to communicate clearly about current issues. They will be develop a future-focused mindset and become innovative critical thinkers, prepared to take on real-world challenges through rhetoric and discourse. Students develop strong written, oral, and digital communication skills through in-depth engagement with texts, contemporary media, and experiential, applied learning. Students will be exposed to a variety of nonfiction texts used as exemplars.
