Academy AP United States History is a survey course designed to meet the needs of highly advanced students. This introduction to U.S./Arizona History and culture assumes a high level of interest and competence from participants. Students will learn U.S./Arizona history from its foundations to the present; exploring themes like society; culture; diplomacy; economics; and politics. The analytical; thinking; writing; and reading skills that are developed in Academy AP United States History will equip students for college and lifelong learning. Mastery is demonstrated by taking the Advanced Placement United States History Exam in May.
