ADV English Seminar IV: A junior English Course intended to serve as an alternative offering to the traditional offering of English III. "The course serves a diverse community of active learners and is dedicated to fusing the traditional academic subjects covered in (English III) with real-world technical applications and problem solving skills. Students will become productive, self-directed learners, engaged in rigorous, relevant work. The course is project-based, and assessment in the course will be centered more on the completion and presentation of projects as opposed to the traditional English class assessment methods via essays and exams. Course Deliverables include a Milestone Deadline Checklists, journal entries and additional assignments. All students will be the relevance of literature and writing in today’s modern world." In addition, the Cambridge International Literature in English and Global Perspectives syllabi will be used to support the advanced level of this course.
