Algebra 1-2 Strategies is designed to deliver targeted support to students who need improvement in both basic computation and arithmetic skills with a focus on strategies to improve algebraic understanding. This course also supports improvement in academic vocabulary and discourse.† Algebra 1-2 Strategies builds upon the algebra; functions and statistics standards taught in 8th grade to reach grade level Algebra standards; but with greater support of foundational skills.† Algebra 1-2 Strategies alsoprovides an increased time with high leverage standards to support success on state assessments and end of course exams; as well as a student?s post-secondary transition plan.
