Algebra I Concepts (242 A/B) Intended Grade Level: 9 Prerequisite: C or below in 8th grade Math or Teacher recommendation Length of Course: 2 Trimesters Credit: 0.5 per Trimester This course is designed to solidify pre-algebra skills and introduce abstract thinking and problem solving. This course will include topics on positive and negative integers, adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing positive and negative integers, making tables, scientific notation, making and interpreting scatter plots, properties of exponents, graphing linear equations from a table, and probability.
