Course description

This course is designed to prepare students for a collegiate level Algebra course. The purpose of this course is to reinforce mathematical symbols; operations; functions and graphing concepts necessary to be successful in higher math courses. This includes (1) a study of functions and graphs (2) properties of polynomials; rational; exponential; and logarithmic functions; and (3) a study of trigonometric functions and applications.
