Course description

AP Seminar English 3-4 H is the second course in the series for required English graduation credits. It is designed to prepare students to meet proficiency onthe Arizona English 9-10 standards that include reading; writing; speaking and listening; and language skills. It engages students in cross-curricularconversations that explore the complexities of academic and real-world topics and issues by analyzing divergent perspectives. Using thematic units; studentslearn to synthesize information from multiple sources (including articles; research studies; literary texts; philosophical texts; speeches; broadcasts; artisticworks; and artistic performances); develop their own perspectives in research-based written essays; and design and deliver oral and visual presentations.Students complete requirements for AP Seminar Performance Tasks.
