Applied Biological Systems/Applied Biological Systems Honors
Pre-requisite
Introduction to Agriculture
Course description
Applied Bio Systems
Buckeye Union High School District
Course Description: Subject matter focuses on inquiry-based science processes, biological molecules, cell biology, cell division, genetics, ecology, evolution, and basic agricultural mechanics. Each student will develop a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) standards will be an integral part of this class through participation in FFA. Upon successful completion of this course, along with Intro to Ag/FFA, students will receive one Biology credit towards graduation and enrollment into Arizona state universities.
