Course title

Applied Engineering Part A

Pre-requisite

Principles of Engineering Part A and Part B

Course description

This course content focuses on the role of technology in our society and allow students to examine the engineering design process while developing the critical thinking skills necessary to solve real-world problems. Instruction is focused on the electrical systems, circuits and semiconductor conductor components used in modern electronics. The inclusion of four “labs/activities” and unit specific “discussions” promote opportunities for students to further explore technology related to electrical systems, apply concepts learned to system development and testing and dialog with others on the application of content to real-world scenarios.
