Course description

Students will analyze the theory behind the world?s great artists. This knowledge will be put to practice as students produce original traditional and digital artwork. These experiences will help students to critique and evaluate other works according to basic principles and elements of visual art. Students will gain historical and cultural perspectives while learning about the traditional art of the Americas; Africa; and Oceania in addition to the development of Western art.
