This course takes you onto an exciting journey into the last frontier, space, and to explore the universe. The course covers the formation of the universe, galaxies, stars and planets including mysterious black holes, dark matter and the fate of the universe. Learners will explore how distant exploding stars forged nearly every atom that makes life possible on the earth. The most recent discoveries made by satellites, the Hubble Space Telescope and Webb Telescope are all a part of the course. The assignments included in the course are similar to those that real astronomers conduct. Interesting activities such as visiting planetarium/ space research centers/ telescope facility, watching a rocket launch event/ space flight and live interaction session with well known astronomers will be a part of the course.
