Course description

This course provides the student with an advanced level of knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry. Students will apply their learning from the previous two years on how a vehicle works as well as how to maintain it for a long and trouble-free existence. The course is for students planning a career in the automotive industry and/or interested in furthering their education in the automotive industry. Students who complete the three-year program; have the opportunity to become certified in the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) program. The ASE certification assesses students in the areas for suspension and steering; brakes; electrical/electronic systems; and engine performance. With this certification and the knowledge gained in this program; students will be equipped with the necessary skills for initial employment in the automotive industry. Skills and information learned in this program will lead to many opportunities in the automotive industry.†
