Course description

This course is considered a language arts class at my school where you learn about the Bible as well as British Literature.†It fulfills graduation requirements and in California schools it is approved for UC and Cal State systems for entrance requirements. In this course; students get to enhance their reading; writing; listening; speaking and written and oral langauge skills. In this course; students learn about Older and Newer Testaments as well as selected readings in classic British Literature to develop ethical; aesthetic and cultural values. Students also can learn how the development of Biblical materials had a heavy influence of British literature and our society. Each week there is also basic grammar review; vocabulary enhancement exercises as well as some principles for living. The first semester there is at†least one major research project and in the second semester there is a culminating senior project; a Life Transformational Moment essay and in-class presentation.
