Explore the structure, function, diversity, and evolution of living matter by taking an in-depth look at the fundamental characteristics of living organisms. Students will formulate hypotheses, design simple experiments, draw conclusions, develop inferences that they will apply to new situations, and will apply scientific principles to everyday life. All students enrolled in Biology I will take the LEAP 2025 exam at the completion of the course. The LEAP 2025 exam score will factor into the student’s course grade.
