Chemistry

Throughout this Chemistry course, you will be introduced to many topics. We will begin with introductory science concepts, including measurement and how to interpret data.  Then, we will move into topics about matter, leading into a study of atoms and the Periodic Table.  Time will be spent learning about the interactions of atoms, including bonding and energy.  You will learn about conservation of mass through stoichiometry, and then about how matter interacts in chemical reactions.  The year will round out with studies on acids and bases, gases, and thermal and nuclear chemistry.
