Course description

This math and lab based course will explore the nature of the global climate system. It will include factors that influence climate (i.e.; interactions among the atmosphere; oceans; solid earth; and biosphere). Global warming; ozone depletion; and other human influences are considered. This course follows the curriculum of Atmospheric Sciences 211 that is offered at the University of Washington. The students can earn five (5.0) University of Washington credits when they complete this course with a grade of ?B? or better.
