College Prep Algebra

The course will emphasize college level mathematics as applied to real life situations in relation to piecewise; quadratic; polynomial; rational; exponential; logarithmic functions with and without the use of technology. Students will solve quadratic; polynomial; absolute value; rational; radical; exponential and logarithmic equations. Students will also be assessed on their understanding and use of a graphing utility. It is our desire to foster students’ appreciation for; and further their understanding of; the concepts of mathematics.
