The Construction Technologies program offers beginning-level instruction in construction equipment and safety, site preparation and layout, construction estimating, blueprint reading, building codes, framing, masonry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical and mechanical systems, interior and exterior finishing, and plumbing. Students will participate in the continuation of developing leadership, social, civic, and career skills through their participation in the state-recognized Career and Technical Student Organization SkillsUSA. Requisites for Honors Classification: Students must be enrolled in two other core honors classes. Students must maintain a letter grade of “B” or higher to stay in the
Optional Honors area of this class. In addition to the regular classroom assignments, there will be additional, rigorous assignments and expectations will be set at a higher level.
