In this course; students will explore algebraic thinking patterns and functions in a financial context. Students will apply mathematical ideas to their every day lives. Students will gain confidence in working with common algebraic functions while learning about investments; credit; expenses; insurance; income tax; and household budgeting. Career Math is the course that covers employment; credit; banking; independent living; and automobile ownership.
