Course description: Discuss how various cameras work and the history of cameras and photography production (pinhole; conventional; digital).† Gain an understanding of how the production of photographs is affected by aperture; shutter speed; natural and artificial lighting; and filters.† Be able to apply ?rules of photography? when producing images in a studio and outdoors photography.† Evaluate different techniques used to produce portraits; sports photos; panoramic photos; firework photos; Marco photos; landscape photos; and panning for moving shots.† Students will use critical thinking and problem solving to produce original images while applying the rules of photography (theory) with the practice of photography.
