Course description

Child development is the study of physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth in children. This course has two components. In the first component, students will work on Early Childhood Education curriculum through a virtual lab. The second component is working in the childcare internship, where students will experience interaction with infants through pre-school children under the supervision of child care staff. Course Description for Early Childhood Education: You will learn how to create fun and educational environments for children, how to keep the environment safe for children, and how to encourage the health and well-being of infants, toddlers, and school–aged children.
