Course description

In this online course; students will learn about the planet they call home as well as humans? impact on the earth. Students will examine how the hydrosphere; atmosphere; geosphere; and biosphere interact with each other as a system. From land; to air; to water; students will evaluate pollution and other problems and think critically about solutions. Finally; students will examine the advantages and disadvantages of different types of energy sources as well as different methods for ?going green.?
