In this intermediate natural science course, students gain insight into the concepts and principles that explain some of the natural phenomena, as well as the importance of physics in their lives. Students need to be familiar with functions, graphs and the fundamentals of trigonometry, matter and energy. Exit competencies strengthened or developed in thiscourse: Students will conduct research projects, following the appropriate methodology for the diverse academic areas; design innovative projects, integrating diverse contents and technological resources to solve a variety of problems; apply their knowledge, skills and attitudes to evaluate and solve multidisciplinary problems. Learning outcome: Students will generate reports on activities and practices that can be integrated into their personal portfolio, and a multidisciplinary project focused on leadership in energy-related sustainability and innovation, with the corresponding impact study, using physics, mathematics and technology tools.
