Course description

Students will study and apply the concepts and genres of literature as they read selections from across time periods in American History. With emphasis on the Arizona Arizona Language Arts Standards; students will apply grammar rules and acquire new vocabulary; while analyzing classic and contemporary fiction and nonfiction texts; Students will compose writings within the Arizona Common Core modes: narrative; expository; and argumentative.
