This exciting course will encompass a variety of life skills including nutrition (like meal planning, basic cooking, food storage & preparation, etc.), practical sewing skills, and learning about critical concepts related to financial wellness. Students will work in groups and collaborate, learning about basic car maintenance, fixing home items, and more. In addition, students will gain independence with and will practice critical thinking as they approach planning for future careers and being a successful adult in the workforce. This course is for students who are interested in useful and fun projects and have a desire to build practical skills that will take them into the adult world.
