Course description

This course covers real life applications of mathematical concepts in finance and statistical reasoning.† In the first semester; students will learn how to manage finances and process real-life scenarios of financial budgeting; investments and taxes.† In the second semester; students will apply probability models to statistical inference and 2 variable data to make predictions about outcomes of real world events.

The goal of this course is to combine two current courses (Financial Algebra and Statistical Reasoning) into one robust course to give students a well-rounded understanding of mathematical skills for life after high school.
