Students will focus on basic financial planning concepts and illustrate how these concepts apply to everyday life. Topics covered include career planning and development, goal setting, personal budgeting, financial statements, tax planning, use of credit, savings and investment programs, changes in housing situations, major consumer purchases, insurance needs, and retirement.
