Microscopy Equipment (15-20 hours) Compound microscopes, Prepared slides (human tissue samples), Blank slides and coverslips, Microscope cleaning supplies, Digital microscope camera (optional) Dissection Equipment (25-30 hours) Dissection trays and pans, Dissection tools (scalpels, scissors, forceps) Preserved specimens (select 2-3): Sheep brain, Cow eye, Sheep heart, Dissection gloves Safety goggles Lab aprons/coats Measurement and Testing Equipment (10-12 hours) Blood pressure cuffs, Stethoscopes, Spirometers, Reflex hammers, Digital thermometers EKG sensors (if available) Models and Charts (15-18 hours) Human skeleton (full), Individual bone models, Muscle torso model, Brain model, Heart model Anatomical charts for each system Safety Equipment (Used throughout all labs) Eyewash station, First aid kit, Safety shower, Fire extinguisher, Chemical disposal containers, Biohazard waste containers, General Supplies pH strips/meters, Glass beakers and cylinders, Electronic balances, Timer/stopwatch, Alcohol wipes, Laboratory notebooks Time Distribution (24 weeks) Total lab hours: 65-80 hours Classroom instruction: 40-55 hours Average lab session: 90 minutes Frequency: 2 lab sessions per week
