Course description

This rigorous laboratory science course is designed for students who desire to continue to study higher levels of physics. This course will build upon the Physics 1 concepts with emphasis on electricity; magnetism; light; and engineering applications. Students will explain phenomena through designing and running experiments as well as analyzing and interpreting data. Mathematical application of the concepts will be integrated throughout the course and students should be proficient using algebra; geometry; and trigonometry. Emphasis will be placed on hands-on experiences and real-world applications. Students who take this course will have the skills to further pursue college-level STEM fields.†
