Environmental systems and societies (ESS) is an interdisciplinary course that enables students to acquire the knowledge and understandings of environmental systems and issues at a variety of scales. Students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills needed to analyse environmental systems and issues; such as pollution and resource use; while appreciating the value of personal; local and global perspectives. Students will be able to make informed decisions and take responsible actions on environmental issues to create innovative solutions to environmental issues.
