IB Sports, Exercise, and Health Sciences (IBSEHS) incorporates the traditional disciplines of anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, psychology, and nutrition, which are studied in the context of sport, exercise, and health. Students will cover a range of core and option topics and carry out experimental investigations in both laboratory and field settings. This will provide an opportunity to acquire the knowledge and understanding to apply scientific principles and critically analyze human performance. Those who think they are interested in this course should have: an interest in science and be willing to work hard. You will be asked to do your own research and data analysis and must be comfortable writing full lab reports. You must be willing to participate fully in class. There will be work outside of class.

In order to be reviewed as a laboratory science, we will need a list of physical laboratory experiments completed for this course and number of hours students spend doing laboratory assignments each week.
