Course description

This course is aligned to the AZ College and Career Ready Standards and fulfills the second mathematics credit for graduation. Integrated Mathematics 3-4 H will provide students conceptual development and opportunities for procedural fluency to integrate the STEM ACCR-M standards and Statistics standards. This course integrates mathematical modeling of real world data with focus on integration of technology; inquiry based learning; critical thinking and application in culminating unit projects. Algebraic concepts include: rational and irrational exponents; quadratics with real coefficients; operations on polynomials; linear-quadratic systems; Geometric concepts include: geometric theorem proofs; trigonometric ratios in triangles; circle theorems; volume formulas; Statistical concepts include: independence and conditional probability; compound probability; uniform model; decision outcomes- counting rules.
