Course description

In this course, learners are introduced to effective project management skills. Learners will investigate components of project management and the project life cycle such as: creating charters, developing a project plan and schedule, managing clients and stakeholders, analyzing risk, creating project teams, and exploring other tools needed to effectively manage projects. By engaging in this course, you will be equipped to more confidently and successfully: Distinguish among the knowledge areas and phases of project management and how they are applied. Identify and analyze cultural, organizational, and human resource influences on projects. Synthesize the principles and practices of effectively managing projects. Assess one’s progress in project management knowledge and development.
