Students will learn about the history of law enforcement, crime scene investigation, criminal law, and report writing. Students will also experience scenario-based learning, field trips to crime labs, court houses, and other locations, physical fitness testing, leadership training, and forensic science. Students will also learn about police qualifications and specialized federal, local, and other government services. By the end of the first year, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the background of the criminal justice system in the United States.
