Course description

This class is designed for seniors who are going for the International Baccalaureate diploma; as well as for those who have passed College Algebra / Trig.; but want to strengthen their skills rather than go on to Statistics or Calculus. The course will consist of a review of advanced Algebra; Trigonometry; Statistics; Probability; and pre-Calculus; with each area then built upon a higher level. Students will be prepared for the IB/Math Studies test; with a concentration in either Statistics/Probability. In the second semester; preparation of projects for the IB portfolio will be emphasized. Rigorous reviews of old tests will lead up to the May testing. (Second year for IB Diploma Candidates).
