Course description

The Personal Finance course is an introductory course that will provide students with an in-depth understanding of financial planning and investing so that they will be able to use these applications in everyday life. Topics include basic personal finance, taxes, mortgages, insurance, responsible credit behavior, and retirement. Students will be required to work with peers and develop projects to demonstrate their understanding of the material.
