This course was formerly listed as Business 102. The title was changed to reflect updated Dual Enrollment course alignment. This is the title in the SUSD planning guide to entice students to complete their Finance pathway: This course provides students an opportunity to learn critical elements associated with finance. Students will be exposed to multiple areas relating to banking, budgeting, business ethics, accounting, capital planning, acquisitions, insurance, financial analysis, investments and portfolio management, and customer service. In addition, students will learn the fundamentals of the stock market and the significance of participating in stock ownership within a global economy. The content will enable students to gain the necessary knowledge required to acquire and sustain financial freedom. This course leads to industry- recognized certification.
