Mathematical Reasoning allows students to develop an understanding of mathematical principles†and appreciate mathematics for its application to real-life situations.†This course will have project-based learning; group activities; and most importantly; it will†require you to think through and provide written and verbal explanations of processes and†responses.†This course provides an in-depth analysis†of mathematical concepts and how they apply to the real world. Topics of this course include set theory; logic; numerical representation and calculations; number theory and real number system; algebraic†equations; inequalities; functions and linear systems; personal finance; and probability and statistics. All of the topics will require students to problem-solve and use critical thinking skills.†
