This course covers the basics of video produection; audio production; and the media industry. This is a field that is growing with the proliferation of video into all aspects of our lives from film; television; commercial; marketing; corporate videos; podcasts and more. Topics covered in the course include pre- production; production; post production; video and audio editing in addition to career pathways in media. The course places a strong emphasis on writing skills; creative talents; and problem solving. Students will also-enhance their teamwork and time management skills.†
