Course title

Sculpture and Ceramics III

Pre-requisite

Sculpture and Ceramics II or teacher recommendation

Course description

The focus of Sculpture and Ceramics III is for student artists to experiment, build, refine, reflect, and find their artistic voice. This class is for students who already have experience working with three-dimensional art and want to take their skills to the next level. In this course, you'll create more complex and personal projects using a variety of techniques like hand-building, wheel-throwing, mold-making, and mixed-media sculpture. Student artists will explore both functional and sculptural artwork while learning how to communicate your own ideas and voice through your art. Students will look at how artists use materials, tools, and design principles to express deeper meaning.
