This course introduces students to the field of sports medicine, focusing on the prevention, recognition, management, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. Students will learn basic human anatomy and physiology, taping and bracing techniques, first aid and CPR, rehabilitation exercises, nutrition, and career paths in sports medicine. Through a combination of classroom instruction, lab activities, and hands-on practice, students will gain the skills needed to pursue further education or careers in the health and sports science fields.
