Course description

The course covers fundamentals of descriptive statistics: measures of center; variations and positions; including graphical methods. Probability distributions: normal; binomial; student-T; Chi-square; and F-distribution are studied. Inferential statistics concepts such as confidence intervals; sample sizes and hypothesis testing are included. The course incorporates correlation; regression and two-sample techniques. Students will utilize statistical software or a graphing calculator.††
