Course description

Statistics is a mathematics course designed for students of high math ability who have completed Algebra 2 with a C or better. It is a 4th year mathematics class. Topics covered will include: Organizing Data; The Normal Distribution; Examining Relationships; Sampling and Experimentation; Two-Variable Data; Producing Data; Probability; Examining Patterns; Random Variables; Binomial and Geometric Distribution; Sampling Distribution; and Statistical Inference. Students who complete this course will be able to take the Advanced Placement Statistics.
