Course description

This culturally-relevant course will focus on Mexican American/Chicanx experiences in American History. Students will critically analyze historic events and the socio-political contributions of Mexican-Americans/Chicanx in the United States. Students will engage in high-level critical thinking to analyze and deconstruct the implications of historic events ranging from pre-colonial to contemporary times. This course aligns to the Arizona History and Social Science Standards.
