Course description

If you have an interest in ecology and / or environmental issues; this could be the course for you! By the end of this combination of lectures and field work; you will be able to carry out plant and animal identification; choose sampling methods; collect and analyze data; and write a scientific technical report. This course will also involve collaborating with nonprofit organizations active in the Philadelphia area. Each student will be assigned an independent research project to be submitted as part of the final evaluation.
