Interactive Digital Media offers students the opportunity to engage in the most recent areas of media in the 21st century while understanding the processes; meanings; values; and principles of graphic design. Students will learn the tools and techniques that will prepare them for further education and feel confident to join the competitive industry in the rapidly evolving 21st century. Students will use many forms of technology including Adobe Premium CS3 and CS4; and digital video and still cameras. IDM trains students in using correct principles in graphic design that include balance and space with shapes and color. Students will develop projects that will explicate and interpret ideas and meanings of all various forms of digital media. Students will learn and understand the history and theories of art in diverse cultures and how those cultures have developed technologically overtime.
