Course description

This is a one-year elective college preparatory course that approaches biology through biochemistry; cell physiology; and anatomy. The biochemistry section will include the study of the structure and function of DNA; the cell; and the microscopic body structures. Human anatomy and physiology; including reproduction; will be studies as well as comparative anatomy of the major groups of organisms. The course will also emphasize laboratory experience and all labs and dissections will be required.
