Earth Science A Course Description

This course is designed to take you on a journey through Earth's cycles and
processes. We will begin by studying the science of Earth and its nature. This will
lead into our discussion of the basic building blocks of Earth such as rocks and
minerals. We will then examine the natural elements of Earth and how they have
sculpted our planet and atmosphere.

This course will help you learn; understand; and appreciate the intricate balances
between the systems on Earth. As we look at modern problems and phenomenon
that perplex scientists such as global warming; water conservation; and use of
natural resources. I hope you will gain a greater appreciation and understanding of
our Earth and its delicate balance
