Course description

Students will apply mathematical concepts to develop structured programming techniques through the use of algorithms. Application programs will be written in all areas of mathematics; business; science; statistics and economics. Students will utilize advanced math concepts to solve problems. These concepts include: arithmetic and logical expressions; input and output; branching and loops; functions; procedures; control structures; data types; arrays; lists; strings; and records.
Grade Level: 10-12
Entrance Requirements: Successful completion of Algebra 3-4. Qualify on placement rubric.
