Course description

This course is an advanced level course with students mastering all National Spanish Test components. In reading; writing; listening and speaking; students will incorporate complex grammatical structures and vocabulary as well as idiomatic expressions. Students will be required to present well researched opinions and formulate argumentative essays about cultural beliefs; world issues; government and the arts. Primary sources and complex fiction and non-fiction texts will be analyzed through discussion and written responses. Throughout the year; students will be expected to apply their language skills and cultural awareness outside of the school environment.
